The Advanced Liver Program is staffed by nationally and internationally renowned hepatologists who work hard to develop novel treatments for more than 100 diseases known to affect the liver. The Liver and Metabolic Health Outpatient Clinic brings many of our providers together in one place. When you visit the clinic, you can see liver experts and other specialists who focus on the heart, hormones, nutrition, exercise and mental health.

The institute is where our patients are. Our physicians see patients at multiple VCU Health clinics. We have an outpatient clinic in the Adult Outpatient Pavilion. We recently opened a state-of-the-art liver comprehensive care unit in the VCU Medical Center for inpatient care.
